Transportation
Lyon is accessible :
 by air (Lyon - Saint-Exupéry airport),
by train (1 heure 50 from Paris gare de Lyon by TGV ; 2h00 from Roissy airport ; 1h54 from Geneva: two train stations SNCF, Lyon Perrache and Lyon Part Dieu, Part Dieu being the easiest to come to the ENS-LSH).
by car, the ENS LSH is easily reached by taking the " rocade sud".
A bus shuttle goes from the airport to the center of the town.
Visiting us
The ENS Lettres & Sciences Humaines (not to be mixed up with the ENS de Lyon [for Science]) is located 15, parvis René Descartes, in the 7th district (in the southern part of Lyon). It is accessible by subway, ligne B, Gerland stadium, metro station Debourg. It is a fast and direct line from the train La Part-Dieu.

It is best to reserve your room as soon as possible (with a confirmation by fax), since Lyon usually hosts a number of conferences in June. Plan on an additional tax that varies from 15 centimes to a Euro per person per day.
L’Ecole Normale Supérieure Lettres et Sciences Humaines is located near the Debourg metro station on the B-line headed towards Stade de Gerland. You will be able to get an visual overview of the various hotels’locations from the pages jaunes website.
